Pyramidite
Ikaite was surely an incredible crystal. I've been collecting North American glendonite, which I call Pyramidite, for about 25 years. Most of my specimens have been greatly eroded by movement against other minerals, acidification of the surrounding matrix, and are incomplete. However their partial forms when compared to the smaller complete examples I have make it clear that pyramidite comes in some amazingly huge sizes.

I do have some fairly well-defined specimens which I've been able to extract from their hardened matrix, preserving at least some of its original surface and sharp edges.

Below you'll see some wonderful specimens found in WA state.

Below is the super long crystal above compressed translaterally (dimensions exchanged). If it were pasted into a sound editor like Audacity, we'd be able to hear Pyramidite music!!
