Research

Scientists, geologists, museum directors and rockhounds have posted the results of their experiences and experimentation with Glendonites and Ikaite on the Internet, along with some great photos.

I have been most fortunate to have communicated with many of them and it has been gratifying to discover others who share my passion about glendonites, ikaite, carbonate formation in ancient sea beds, the climate of the planet in ancient times, and how those all relate to the climate changes we're undergoing today.

The following list includes websites displaying examples of Glendonites and related pseudomorphic mineral forms, mineralogy collector sites, research documents, and a list of all the references I've collected on the subject so far.
